3rd Annual Cannabis Hemp Conference & Expo

The 3rd Annual Cannabis Hemp Conference & Expo takes place on May 6th and 7th at The Nest, at the University of British Columbia. It promises to be Canada’s largest Cannabis Conference, bringing in “a comprehensive gathering for patients, consumers, health-care professionals, environmentalists and industry experts.”

Last years CannabisHemp Conference was my favourite cannabis event of 2016. I recorded a number of speakers and exhibitors and you can check out the playlist Here.

Two years ago I moderated the first Cannabis Hemp Conference at SFU. It was a thrill for me to question some of my mentors and people I greatly respect. Covering a wide range of relative content, there is time for not only current affairs and medicinal benefits, but historical research and spirituality. You can watch footage from the first conference Here

Dr. Ethan Russo

This year is bigger than ever with 13 panels, 50 speakers, 30 exhibitors and 4 hands-on workshops. Personally I would most like to meet Dr. Ethan Russo whose research has contributed greatly to our understanding of cannabis. He has published several books, numerous book chapters, and over forty articles in neurology, pain management, cannabis, and ethnobotany. He has consulted or lectured on these topics in more than 30 US states and 30 countries. Check out his epic bio.
