Victoria Hosts Grass Roots Craft Cannabis Cup

On Saturday October 1st & Sunday October 2nd, experience Victoria BC’s first ever Cannabis Craft Cup, Expo & Dispensary Tour. Promising to be a first of its kind event, Grass Roots will be connecting dispensaries with patients as well as providing an expo and entertainment portion as part of the overall experience.

Victoria has been home to some of the first dispensaries in Canada including the V-CBC and the VICS. The Victoria city council is moving through the final stages of its dispensary business licensing process ahead of the federal governments plans to legalize cannabis. The vigor and enthusiasm that residents of BC’s capital city have toward cannabis has erupted into more than three dozen stores since 2014; including a CannaMall with Victoria’s first vapor lounge. The tour taken by an hourly shuttle service will also visit a number of the local head shops.

Events like these offer unique opportunities to meet, learn and make connections with fellow industry entrepreneurs and those now aspiring to get involved.

It’s also an opportunity to Judge some of the world’s finest cannabis products. Read about my recent experience as a Cannabis Cup Judge.

Grass Roots plans to organize more events across the country.
