International Cannabis Business Conference coming to Vancouver

This summer has seen more Cannabis Conventions, Meetings, Conferences and Expo’s than any other in the Canadian past. The promise of cannabis legalization has everyone from the consistent consumer to the prospective producer humming about its potentials. While the Canadian government Cannabis Task Force is preparing to release it’s recommendations, there is still little more than two aspects that seem to be secure in the minds of Trudeau’s Liberals.

trudeau-The two aims are to 1) protect kids from accessing it and 2) keep gangs from profiting from it’s sale. One of the negative effects of prohibition has been to invite gangs to promote the sale of cannabis through the school yard. Taking the path of least resistance, young people who become part of the lucrative illicit supply chain and are subjected to the dangerous and deadly consequences of high stakes disputes in an unregulated arena.

With this background in mind, cannabis business enthusiasts are getting ready to steamroll the unregulated market with professional innovations and big investments. On October 14th and 15th, the Vancouver Hyatt will host the International Cannabis Business Conference.
