In an attempt to make it easy for anyone to create their own International Medical Marijuana Day picnic, we are offering up these graphics and posters to all. IMMD is on a new date this year, June 11th. This celebrates the unanimous Supreme Court of Canada decision in favour of patients rights to use extracts and derivatives of cannabis, not just the raw herb. June 11th is likely to be a beautiful day for a picnic.

Use image editing software such as MS Paint or Photoshop to put your location in bold white letters in the bottom right corner. Here is the one for Victoria. Check out the Facebook Event Page for the Victoria Picnic.

Here is a Black and White version below that you can print and add the location of your own picnic. Cut it into three to use as a flyer for your IMMD event.

If your creative faculties lead you to make your own posters or flyers for IMMD events, please let us know so we can report about it at the Cannabis Digest. So far there are picnics being organized in Victoria, Vancouver, Port Alberni, Cobble Hill, Kamloops, Edmonton, Toronto, Halifax and one in Northern Ontario.
IMMD has been affirmed each year by a proclamation signed by the Victoria city council. Asking your local council members to consider support for medical cannabis by signing a proclamation is an easy way to bring attention to the issue. Take a read through the Victoria proclamation, which has been edited and added to each year, and write your own version to present.
