Our friend, Ted, had troubles with the law
He was arrested one November for giving out some pot
He tried and he tried to give cookies away
He tried to give them out at the library that day
But the cops showed up to take him away
The cops showed up, they wanted all the cookies
Yes, the cops showed up, they just wouldn’t stay away
The cops told the press the amount they had booked
But the number they said was less than what they took
they lied to the people, they couldn’t get it right
‘Cuz 37 cookies had gone missing in the night!
So, the cops came back to take some more away

The cops must have done through a lot of taste tests
‘Cuz one officer said peanut butter was the best
To sample all those cookies, it must have been tough
With 37 of them gone, they couldn’t get enough!
